This course is a lifetime commitment to the book of Allah. The people of the Quran are the people of Allah, The Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam Said”

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( إِنَّ لِلَّهِ أَهْلِينَ مِنْ النَّاسِ ) قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ هُمْ ؟ قَالَ : ( هُمْ أَهْلُ الْقُرْآنِ ، أَهْلُ اللَّهِ وَخَاصَّتُهُ ) (ابن ماجه وأحمد )

“Verily Allah has His own people among mankind.” They said: O Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said: “They are the people of the Qur’an, Allah’s own people and those who are closest to Him.”

Al-Minnaawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“That is, those who memorise the Qur’an and act in accordance with it are the people of Allah, who are as close to Allah as a person’s family is to him. They are called thus by way of honouring them, just as (the Ka‘bah) is called the House of Allah.”
Also, the Prophet Salla Allahu Alihy wa Sallam said” The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others” (Al-Bukhary)

The Quran will be divided into 8 parts (courses):

1- Introduction and Surah Al-Fatihah
2- The short Surahs of the Mufassal (Ad Duha 93 – An Naas 104)
3- Middle Surahs of the Mufassal (An-Nabaa 78 – Al-Layl 92)
4- Long Surahs of the Mufassal (Qaf 50 – Al-Mursalaat 77)
5- From Surah Yaseen 36- Al-Hujoraat 49
6- From Surah Al-Kahf 18 – Fatter 35
7- From Surah Al-Anfal 8 – Isra 17
8- From Al-Baqaraa 2 – Al-Aaraaf 7

Objectives:

1- Memorize the verses taken (optional but very stressed)
2- Reciting with Tajweed.
3- Brief Tafseer from the book (Tafsir Al Muyassar and Tafseer Al Saadi)
4- Learning Word to Word.
5- significance of the surah order in time and place.
6- Objective of the Surah.
7- The context of the verses.
8- Benefit of the Surahs and Verses.
9- Assignment at the end of every surah.

Required Text:

1 – Al-Tafsir Al-Muyasar
2 – Tafseer As-Sa’di

Listening to the lectures is required whether live or recorded.

By the will of Allah intended to finish all the 8 parts in 2 years or so Insha Allah.

Class time:

It might not be convenient with everyone’s time for the classes, so if you cannot commit to the live lecture, it’s mandatory to listen to the lectures posted in telegram or so.

Sign up steps:

The class is on Google Classroom. the setup should only take a few minutes- or less- and requires you to have a Gmail address (an email address from google)

To sign up , the class starts on Thursday evening, and we’ll provide plenty of notice in sha Allah

2. You’ll be greeted with a screen to LOGIN or create a login with google (see the attachment 1, with red arrows indicating where to sign up if you don’t already have a GMail address.)

3. You can create an email address with google, and then it will direct you into the class.

4. Or if you already have a GMail address, you’ll login with that address and respective password, and will be granted access to the classroom where we will launch course activities in sha Allah

5. On Thursday, the classroom will house a ZOOM link to launch the live class in sha Allah
