1. ORGANIZATION & DONATION POLICY

• Masjid Al-Haqq operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving the community in accordance with Islamic teachings.

• All donations are used for the Masjid, Islamic programs, educational initiatives, and charitable activities.

• Donations are voluntary, final, and non-refundable unless an error occurs in the transaction.

2. DONATIONS & PAYMENT PROCESSING

2.1 General Donations

• Donations to Masjid Al-Haqq are made solely for the sake of Allah (fi sabeelillah) and are used for Islamic causes.

• All contributions are free from riba (interest) and comply with Shariah principles.

• No donor will receive worldly benefits, interest, or material compensation in exchange for a donation.

2.2 ACH – Automatic Bank Withdrawals (Islamic Guidelines Applied)

By enrolling in ACH recurring donations, you confirm that:

• You authorize Masjid Al-Haqq to withdraw the specified amount from your account without any additional charges, interest, or penalties.

• There are no late fees, overdraft penalties, or hidden charges—if a transaction fails, we will not attempt to charge extra.

• The authorization remains in effect until you submit written notice to cancel at least 10 business days before the next scheduled withdrawal.

• If a transaction fails due to insufficient funds, we will contact you without imposing any fees.

Important: Masjid Al-Haqq does not engage in interest-based financial transactions and ensures that all donations are handled in a halal manner.

3. USE OF WEBSITE & CONTENT

• All content on this website is intended for Islamic education and community benefit.

• Users may not copy or distribute our content for commercial purposes without permission.

• Fraudulent activity, hacking, or misrepresentation will result in legal action under Illinois law.

4. PRIVACY POLICY & DATA SECURITY

Your privacy is important to us, and we follow both Islamic values and U.S. data protection laws.

• Your personal and financial details are strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold.

• We only use your data for processing donations, sending receipts, and Masjid updates.

• We do not store credit card or banking details beyond what is necessary for processing payments.

5. TAX DEDUCTIONS & RECEIPTS

• Masjid Al-Haqq is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in Illinois.

• All qualifying donations are tax-deductible under U.S. law.

• Donors will receive year-end tax statements for reporting purposes.

6. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

• Recurring Donations: You may cancel at any time with no penalties or additional charges.

• Refunds: If a donation was made by mistake, a refund request must be submitted within 7 days for review.

• Refunds are not issued for donations made with the intention of sadaqah (charity) or zakat, unless legally required.

7. NO LATE FEES, NO INTEREST, NO FINANCIAL PENALTIES

• Masjid Al-Haqq does not charge or accept any form of interest (riba).

• We do not impose late fees or financial penalties on donors.

• Any failed payments will be handled with courtesy and understanding, in accordance with Islamic values.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & PAYMENT PLATFORMS

• We may use trusted third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Zelle) for handling donations.

• While we ensure Islamic compliance, we are not responsible for the terms and policies of third-party services.

• By using these payment options, you agree to their respective terms.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

• We reserve the right to update these Terms to remain compliant with Islamic rulings and U.S. laws.

• Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services means you accept the revised Terms.
