Raising A Faithful Generation in Times of Fitan: Lessons from the Makkan Era

In today’s world, families face unprecedented challenges that test their faith and the strength of their homes. How do we protect and nurture our faith and what role does it play in helping us navigate times of tribulation and fitan?  

Sheikh Ibrahim will draw lessons from the early Makkan era, a time when the Prophet ﷺ and his companions endured intense trials yet remained firm in faith, to deliver timeless and practical advice for how every believer can protect themselves and their families in these tough times

3:30–3:45 pm — Welcome and Introduction
Opening remarks by the Sheikh and overview of the series.

3:45–5:00 pm — A Matter Overlooked: Importance of Nurturing Iman in times of Tribulation

In times of fitan, nurturing iman becomes our strongest defense. In this session Sheikh Ibrahim will explain the role Iman plays in protecting individuals and why it is important area of focus for individuals looking to remain steadfast and resilient in today’s world and times

5:00–5:30 pm — Salatul Asr

5:40–6:30 pm — An Unshakeable Shield:  The Pillars of Spiritual Nurturing from the Meccan Era

In this session, Sheikh Ibrahim will explore the pillars that the early Muslims used to nurture their Iman and maintain resilience during the Meccan Era. The session will highlight how nurturing iman was essential for that generation and the valuable lessons and practices for individuals and families today

6:30–6:50 pm — Break with Light Refreshments

6:50 –7:40 pm — A Priority Above All Else: The Factors That Influence Iman — Lessons from the Meccan Era

This session dives into the crucial factors that shape and impact iman throughout our lives. Drawing from the example of the early Muslims —who were deeply focused on controlling these influences—Sheikh Ibrahim will reveal how their dedication and example can inspire individuals and families today to safeguard and strengthen their Iman.

7:40 – 8:00 pm — Salatul Maghrib

10:00–11:00 pm — Dessert and Discussion — Dedicated Youth Session
