This summer, give your sons the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of Islam in a fun, structured, and spiritually enriching environment. This weekend program is designed specifically for boys aged 9 and up, focusing on the foundational aspects of our deen β€” belief (Aqeedah), worship (Fiqh of Taharah and Salah), and the wisdom of Hadith.

Through interactive lessons, memorization, and meaningful discussions, students will build confidence in their Islamic identity, learn how to practice their religion correctly, and internalize the principles of Imaan.

Program Overview

Target Audience: Boys ages 9 and above
Purpose:

  • To instill a correct understanding of core Islamic beliefs
  • To equip students with practical knowledge in worship (Tahara and Salah)
  • To encourage Hadith memorization and Islamic identity

Schedule:

  • Days: Saturdays and Sundays (Starting June 14th – August 17th)
  • Time: After Salat al-Dhuhr (approximately 1:30 PM) to 4:00 PM
  • Duration: 2 hours per day

Curriculum

Aqeedah (Belief)
Focus on the Six Pillars of Imaan:

  • Belief in Allah
  • Belief in the Angels
  • Belief in the Books
  • Belief in the Messengers
  • Belief in the Last Day
  • Belief in Qadar (Divine Decree – the good and the bad of it)

Hadith Memorization

  • Memorization of short, authentic Ahadith
  • Simple explanation to aid understanding and application

Fiqh (Practical Worship)

  • Concise Fiqh of Taharah (Purification):
  • Importance and types of purification
  • Wudu, Ghusl, and Tayammum
  • What breaks Wudu and how to maintain cleanliness
  • Concise Fiqh of Salah (Prayer):
    • Conditions, pillars, and description of the prayer
    • Importance of Khushu’ (concentration)
    • Common mistakes and how to correct them

Class Structure (Sample Daily Schedule)

  • 1:30 PM – 1:45 PM: Arrival and settling in after Dhuhr
  • 1:45 PM – 2:15 PM: Aqeedah – teaching one of the six pillars
  • 2:15 PM – 2:45 PM: Fiqh – covering aspects of Taharah or Salah
  • 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM: Hadith memorization and explanation
  • 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Review, Q&A, or interactive activity

Goals and Outcomes

Students will:

  • Understand and internalize the foundations of Imaan
  • Learn how to perform purification and prayer properly
  • Memorize and apply key Ahadith
  • Participate in a structured Islamic learning environment
