The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills. (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)

The Virtues of Sadaqah

From the Quran:

🔹 Sadaqah Multiplies Rewards Tremendously

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [the reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing.”

— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)

🔹 Whatever You Spend, Allah Replaces

“Whatever you spend in the way of Allah, He will replace it. And He is the best of providers.”

— (Surah Saba’ 34:39)

🔹 Charity Cleanses and Elevates the Soul

“Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke Allah’s blessings upon them.”

— (Surah At-Tawbah 9:103)

From the Sunnah:

🔹 Build a Masjid = A House in ParadiseThe Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

🔹 Charity Will Never Decrease Wealth

“Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor…”

— (Sahih Muslim 2588)

🔹 Allah Promises to Spend on You

“Allah said: O son of Adam! Spend (in charity), and I will spend on you.”

— (Sahih Bukhari 5352, Sahih Muslim 993)

🔹 Best Charity Is When You’re Able

“The best charity is when you give while healthy and hoping for wealth, fearing poverty…”

— (Sahih Bukhari 1419, Sahih Muslim 1032)

🔹 Sadaqah Grows Like a Mountain

“Whoever gives charity equivalent to a date from pure earnings… Allah will nurture it until it becomes like a mountain.”

— (Sahih Bukhari 1410, Sahih Muslim 1014)

Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

“And spend from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says,
‘My Lord! If only You would delay me for a short while, so I could give charity and be among the righteous!’
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come.”
— (Surah Al-Munāfiqūn 63:10–11)

Give now — while your charity can still rise to the heavens and return to you multiplied.
Don’t wait until it’s too late.

“Shaytān threatens you with poverty and commands you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing.”
— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:268)
